History

Co-sponsored by National Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and Australian Research Council (ARC), the 1st Australia-China Symposium for Materials Science was held in December 2004 in Brisbane, Australia. The 2nd was held in August 2006 in Yanji, China. All participants to this series of symposia are high-profile scientists in materials science from Australia and China. The 3rd conference is scheduled to be held at Gold Coast, Australia from 19 to 23 November 2011. Continuing with the conference tradition, all speakers at the 2011 conference will be by invitation. Contributed posters are also welcome.
